Our commitment

Contemporary Leadership Advisors (CLA), operated by Garcia Fisher Gullette, Inc., provides the Coaching Center at cla.center. Coaching depends on trust. We treat the information you share here as confidential and limit its use to supporting your coaching relationship and operating this service.

What we collect

We collect account details such as your name, email address, account role, and, if you choose text-message verification, your mobile phone number and consent record. We also collect coaching content that users enter or upload, including goals, reflections, meeting information, development plans, messages, assessments, and stakeholder feedback.

We keep the limited sign-in, security, and service records needed to protect accounts, prevent misuse, and understand whether the service is working. If you contact CLA, we retain the information you provide so we can respond.

How we use information

We use information to provide coaching tools, support agreed work between leaders and assigned coaches, manage accounts and engagements, respond to inquiries, and protect the Coaching Center. Optional communications follow your account preferences. Text-message sign-in codes are used for account security only, not marketing.

AI processing

When you use an AI-supported feature, the information needed for that task is processed through CLA's secure AI provider. Client data is not used to train AI models. We limit the information sent to what the feature needs and apply the same access restrictions to AI-supported work as to other coaching content. AI features pause rather than send real client information to an unapproved provider.

Who can access information

Access is based on a person's role and assignment. Private leader reflections and Companion conversations are not available to sponsors or unassigned administrators. Assigned coaches receive information shared with them or made available for their coaching work. Private coach session notes are available only to the assigned coach or CLA partner and super admins.

Client sponsors see engagement activity and status, not coaching conversations, assessments, notes, or reflection content. Anonymous Supporter Pulse results are released only when at least three people respond. Coaches do not see engagement fees. Reports use protected aggregates rather than opening confidential source content to unassigned administrators.

Authorized service providers may process information as needed to host and secure the service, deliver account messages, and provide approved AI processing. This operational processing does not permit marketing use of your coaching information.

Retention

Confidential engagement content is deleted 12 months after an engagement closes, subject to an explicitly authorized retention extension. Account, consent, security, and administrative records may be retained separately where needed to operate the service, document consent, or meet legal obligations. Text messages and mobile privacy

If you choose “CLA sign-in codes,” we use your mobile number to deliver one-time two-step sign-in codes. Consent is optional; an authenticator app or email code provides an alternative. We record the number, the time you agreed, and the version of the consent terms.

Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text-message delivery requires processing by our messaging provider and mobile carriers solely to deliver and protect the service. Message frequency varies; messages are sent only when you sign in or request a sign-in code. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Your choices and questions

You can choose whether to use text codes, manage available communication preferences in your profile, and decide whether to share private leader entries with your coach. For access, correction, deletion, privacy questions, or support, contact inquiries@contemporaryleadership.com.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or our obligations change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the Coaching Center or an appropriate account notice.
